What should be paid attention to after oxidation treatment of aluminum profiles?
Aluminum profile is an alloy material mainly composed of aluminum. Aluminum rods are melted and extruded to obtain aluminum materials with different cross-sectional shapes. However, the proportion of added alloy is different, and the mechanical properties and application fields of industrial aluminum profiles produced are also different. What should be paid attention to after oxidation treatment of aluminum profiles?
(1) Rinse with hot water. The purpose of hot water washing is to age the film layer. But the water temperature and time must be strictly controlled. If the water temperature is too high, the film layer will thin and the color will become lighter. Long processing time for aluminum profiles can also cause similar problems as mentioned above. The suitable temperature and time are: temperature of 40-50 ℃ and time of 0.5-1MIN.

(2) Dry. It is better to dry naturally. The workpiece filled with barley is washed with hot water and hung diagonally on a rack, allowing the free water on the working surface to flow downward in a straight direction. The water droplets flowing to the bottom corner are sucked away with a towel, and the color of the film layer dried in this way is not affected, appearing natural.
(3) Aging. The aging method of aluminum profiles can be determined according to climatic conditions. In summer with sunlight, they can be exposed to sunlight, while in rainy or winter, they can be baked in an oven. The process conditions are: temperature of 40-50 ℃ for 10-15 minutes.
(4) Repair of non-conforming parts. Unqualified conductive oxide film parts should be picked out before the drying and aging process, as the film layer is difficult to remove after drying and aging and will affect the surface roughness of the workpiece. The author has made some explorations in the process of this issue, and through various methods of testing, it has been found that the following methods are effective, simple, and do not affect the surface quality of the workpiece.
